High School

¿What makes us different?

MCS HIGH SCHOOL is a place designed especially for young people to develop Christian attitudes and values, while acquiring knowledge and perfecting skills that allow them to achieve the competencies that prepare them to face the 21st century.

We have highly qualified and committed staff, which facilitates learning experiences that lead students to reach our exit profile.

Our commitment is to honor God with everything we do (Colossians 3:23-24), so we work every day to be the highest example in everything.

Christian Living:

Our main differentiator is the transversality of principles and values from the Bible, which is the Word of God.

We begin each day with a devotional time in which we study the Bible, bringing light to current issues, while developing skills and attitudes that lead them to honor God, love themselves, and serve others.

In all classes and activities, biblical principles are present. We work to ensure that they become a practice in the midst of everyday life.

Our students can be part of the youth group “LAMP”, young people united by faith in God and their desire to serve others.

NEUROACTIVATION®:

Every morning, students participate in the Neuroactivation® program, a space for social, physical and cognitive enrichment, which seeks to improve neurological connections through scheduled physical exercise, promoting learning processes and health in an integral way.

Neuroscience proclaims that acquiring the habit of exercise improves performance in the classroom by enhancing learning and memory capabilities and optimizing the ability to respond to daily stress. In addition, it states that a student who exercises will be more motivated and will experience a greater sense of well-being, which will make it easier for them to carry out their activities in the classroom.

The name of the program “Neuroactivation®” is a registered trademark of Monterrey. This program is run by an interdisciplinary team made up of teachers of different subjects.

EVALUATION FOR LIFE

We promote an assessment model based on competencies, which make visible the growth of the student both in the knowledge of each subject and in the skills and values when putting it into practice.

The assessment involves methodologies such as project-based learning with a cooperative work approach.

This type of non-traditional assessment allows students to develop skills in research, problem solving, planning, finding creative solutions, learning to learn, assertive communication and teamwork, which are widely sought after today by the labor market.
