🚒 2nd Grade Field Trip — Learning from Our Community Heroes 🚒
Our 2nd-grade students recently visited the Estación de Bomberos Metropolitana Sur as part of their learning experience about community safety and service.
They were warmly welcomed by the firefighters on duty — including Justin Masís, an MCS alum from the Class of 2023, who showed special care and pride in hosting students from his former school. 💛
The children toured the station, visited the emergency vehicle area 🚒🚑, and learned how firefighters protect the well-being and safety of our communities. An exciting highlight was witnessing an actual emergency call as one of the fire trucks departed with sirens on! 🚨
Each student had the opportunity to explore a fire truck and an ambulance from the inside — a thrilling hands-on experience.
By the end of the visit, the children expressed their gratitude and excitement, with many saying they now dream of becoming firefighters when they grow up. 👩🚒👨🚒
