๐ 2nd Grade Field Trip โ Learning from Our Community Heroes ๐
Our 2nd-grade students recently visited the Estaciรณn de Bomberos Metropolitana Sur as part of their learning experience about community safety and service.
They were warmly welcomed by the firefighters on duty โ including Justin Masรญs, an MCS alum from the Class of 2023, who showed special care and pride in hosting students from his former school. ๐
The children toured the station, visited the emergency vehicle area ๐๐, and learned how firefighters protect the well-being and safety of our communities. An exciting highlight was witnessing an actual emergency call as one of the fire trucks departed with sirens on! ๐จ
Each student had the opportunity to explore a fire truck and an ambulance from the inside โ a thrilling hands-on experience.
By the end of the visit, the children expressed their gratitude and excitement, with many saying they now dream of becoming firefighters when they grow up. ๐ฉโ๐๐จโ๐
