From June 9–13, twelve outstanding 10th and 11th grade students from MCS are participating in the prestigious Summer Academy at John Brown University, located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This immersive experience offers our students a unique opportunity to engage in academic, creative, and professional exploration far beyond the traditional classroom environment.

Each student selected one of twelve specialized vocational tracks, tailored to ignite curiosity and develop real-world skills. Among the exciting tracks offered are Game Design, Fine Arts, Pre-Medical Professions, Engineering, Psychology, Cinematography, and others. Through hands-on projects, expert mentorship, and collaborative learning, students are not only discovering their talents but also refining their sense of purpose and professional aspirations.

This week-long academy is more than just a summer activity—it is a powerful investment in our students’ future. As they explore new fields of study, interact with university faculty, and experience college life, our students are gaining invaluable insights into what it means to pursue their God-given calling in today’s globalized world.

At MCS, we believe in nurturing every student’s potential and exposing them to life-changing opportunities that challenge and inspire. The Summer Academy at JBU aligns perfectly with our mission to develop critical thinkers, servant leaders, and culturally aware young people who are grounded in their faith.

We are incredibly proud of our students for embracing this adventure with excellence, curiosity, and humility. Their participation reflects not only their personal commitment to growth but also our school’s dedication to cultivating lifelong learners ready to make an impact for Christ in every sphere of society.

Let us continue to pray for their safety, growth, and the seeds being planted during this formative experience. We celebrate their journey and thank God for the doors He continues to open for our students!
